Introduction
The Centre offers a variety of courses for researchers. The courses are divided into an ten-day introductory course and a number of short (one- to two-day) courses. The introductory course, Introductory Biostatistics for Researchers, is given three times a year. Statistical fundamentals are reviewed and expanded upon with regression analysis and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Concrete examples and case studies are used to apply the theory to practical situations. In the short courses, an introduction is accompanied by further in-depth study of specific statistical techniques.
