Julius Center scores 'Excellent' in external research evaluation

The assessment of research at Dutch universities takes place every six years. An external site visit of medical research at the UMC Utrecht took place in december 2007 and the international review committee published its results last week.
Overall research of the UMC Utrecht was judged as very good. Research of the Julius Center even scored 'excellent'. Both quality and relevance obtained the highest scores possible, (both '5'). For productivity and vitality, scores inbetween very good and excellent were obtained ('4/5' and '4' respectively), also very good results indeed.
