NVAO accreditation for Health Sciences - Epidemiology Postgraduate MSc programme

The accreditation organization of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) has approved registration of a new educational programme in Health Sciences at Utrecht University. Health Sciences covers one master's programme: Epidemiology Postgraduate. With this registration the privately funded MSc programme, which started in 2005 in a temporary construction under Biomedical Sciences, has developed into a fully embedded programme. It offers extensive epidemiological training to PhD students and health professionals active in clinical research. The programme is organized by the four epidemiological research groups at Utrecht University: Julius Center, IRAS, Pharmacoepidemiology and Veterinary Epidemiology, in collaboration with the Netherlands Institute of Health Sciences.
