Yvonne van der Schouw appointed as Professor of Chronic Disease Epidemiology

As of 1st December, 2008, Yvonne van der Schouw of the Julius Center is appointed as Professor of Chronic Disease Epidemiology by the Executive Board of Utrecht University. Her appointment constitutes a chair position of the UMC Utrecht. Her research focuses on unravelling the role of the menopauze and sex hormones in the origin and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
