Joline Beulens receives Dr. Dekker Postdoc grant from Netherlands Heart Foundation

Joline Beulens from the Julius Center (department of Epidemiology) has received a Dr. Dekker Postdoc grant from the Netherlands Heart Foundation.
The Dr. E. Dekker programme is a stimulation programme which contains fellowships for outstanding investigators in the cardiovascular field. With this grant for Joline will spend 4 years investigating the effect of vitamin K intake on the development of coronary calcifications and the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Also involved in this research project are Yvonne van der Schouw (Julius Center), Gerard Pasterkamp (Experimental Cardiology) and Cees Vermeer (Maastricht University).
