Visiting professorship for Cuno Uiterwaal

In order to stimulate the co-operation between Utrecht University and China/Japan, exchange grants have been assigned for 2010. Two candidates have been appointed as visiting professor, one of which is Cuno Uiterwaal, MD, PhD of the Julius Center.
In October and November 2010, Cuno Uiterwaal will start working at the medical faculty of Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia. He will be working with the institute of epidemiology and biostatistics and the local Julius Center. The Julius Center has strong ties with this faculty through the Asialink project. The purpose of Cuno's visit is to help strengthen and stabilize clinical epidemiology there and to try and start up joint research projects.
